Today is the Day of Silence, a national youth movement to create awareness of the harassment, prejudice & discrimination faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning teens on a daily basis.  You’ll notice today, some of your classmates are remaining silent out of respect for this day.  What can you do to end the silence?

Seniors:  If you need to check and see if you have placed an order for a graduation cap and gown, please check the list posted in the window of the student store in the upper court.  See Sabrina with any questions.

There is still time to purchase Grad Night Tickets.  Bring your money and permission slip to the office by April 30th.

Come to the Christian Club meeting today in room 124.  There will be a guest speaker from CPC.

Looking for extra money this summer???  Jobs are available at the Peninsula Swim School--no experience necessary.  Pay ranges from $9-11/hour.  Check posting on bulletin board in the Career Center window.

Stanford University is sponsoring a photo contest.  Deadline to apply is May 15.  See Mrs. Merport in the Career Center for more information.

Attention Hillsdale!  Earth Day is here!  In celebration of this green holiday, there will be a pasta dinner and movie night tonight from 5:30 – 8:30 pm in the cafeteria.  Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for kids.  In addition, there will be an Eco-Fair and miniature golf course located in the parking lot next to the turf field on Sunday from 10 am – 4 pm.  Admission is $10 for adults and $ for kids.  All proceeds go toward the purchase of Solar panels for Hillsdale!  Bring your friends and family to this green celebration!

If anyone lost a purple scarf, an earring, or a cufflink at Prom, please see Ms. White.

Seniors:  Caps, gowns and announcements will be passed out on Monday, April 28th in the Student Store.

The Foster City Youth Advisory Committee is hosting its annual Youth and Teen Talent Show during the Foster City Art and Wine Festival on June 1st.  If you are interested in competing, you must register for an audition time.  Grand prize winners will receive a cash prize.  To register, complete the form available on line at www.fostercity.org.
