The Foster City Youth Advisory Committee is hosting its annual Youth and Teen Talent Show during the Foster City Art and Wine Festival on June 1st.  If you are interested in competing, you must register for an audition time.  Grand prize winners will receive a cash prize.  To register, complete the form available on line at www.fostercity.org.  Registration closes today!

Woodsock!  Not to be confused with Woodstock.  Woodsock is H.I.T.’s spring show!  Performances are today and tomorrow at 8 pm and Sunday at 2 pm.  Come see your friends on the HIT Squad a second time, and your ticket will be half off!  Keep an eye out for Woodsock’s ticket table in the Great Court at lunch!

Senior ladies:  Do you reside in San Mateo, Foster City or Hillsborough and have you played softball in either the San Mateo Youth Softball League or in high school?  If you have, the George Feely Softball Scholarship is now available.  Deadline is May 10.

Attention all Football players:  There will be a mandatory team meeting today at lunch in the Main Gym.  Spring practice starts next Monday and we will be meeting to discuss expectations and requirements for making the team.  This includes both Varsity and Frosh-Soph players.

If anyone has lost a cell phone, please see Ms. White.

This coming Monday is Cinco de Mayo and the Latinos Unidos Club will be having the biggest and best food sale ever during lunch!  There will be carne asada tacos and grilled chicken tacos cooked on the grill and so much more!  3 items for only $5.00 with a cup of horchata.  There will also be latin music and dancing!  Come and enjoy some great authentic food!

Juniors:  if you are thinking of applying to St. Mary's College of California next year, they are holding an open house on Saturday, May 17 from 9:30-1:30 p.m.  See Mrs. Merport in the Career Center for more information.

 Mr. G says congratulations to all Band members who performed at last weekends CMEA Band Festival…especially to the Wind Ensemble who had received the highest score possible…First time in ten years!  Congratulations!!!
