Seniors:  If you are applying for the San Mateo Rotary 4-year or Community College Scholarships, it must be given to Mrs. Merport on Friday by noon. 

Attention Students, if you are interested in taking Biotechnology next year, talk to your counselor today! The class is offered at San Mateo High School, and it is offered on a first come, first serve basis, so sign up right away. 

Hey Manga Club Members:  We will still have a meeting today at lunch in Mr. Tsao’s room, #244. 

Attention all boating fans!  The Cardboard Boat Race is approaching!  A chance to represent your club, sport, or group of friends in a boating competition!  Come to an informational meeting in the dance room on Monday, March 22nd in the Dance Room.  See you there! 

Attention all students who were nominated for the annual UASB conference!  Please make sure to turn your permission slips in by this Friday to Sabrina in the Dance Room.  Only the first 22 people will be able to go, so if you’re planning ong going do not delay! 

Are you ready for another dance?  MORP is coming your way on this Friday, March 19 from 7-10 pm.  Tickets are on sale today!  $7 without PAL, $5 with PAL.  This year’s theme is BLACK LIGHT, WEAR WHITE!  See you there! 

OLYMPIC SUMMER CAMP is hiring!!!!  You must be 16 years of age by June 15 and have an athletic background to be considered for employment.  You should love sports, have a fun outgoing personality, and enjoy working with kids.  Camp features sports, games and fun camp activities for boys and girls ages 5-13.  Camp runs from June 28 to August 6.  Check the job posting board in the Career Center window or See Mrs. Merport.

ALL STUDENTS:  During lunch you are not allowed to eat, sit, or lay down on the upper turf field.  You are only allowed on the turf field if you are playing a sport or doing an activity.  If you cannot follow these rules, the turf field will be closed and you may face consequences. Thank you for your cooperation.

Calling all girls! Are you going to prom? Is it just too darn expensive? Do you want a free dress? Go to the Princess Project free dress giveaway on March 20 and 27 in San Francisco. Come pick up a flyer in the counseling office or go to princessproject.org for more details.

Attention seniors!  The deadline for Senior Ads has been extended until this Friday, March 19.  This will be the final deadline!!! See Ms. Maniego in room 144 or Marlie Romero with your payment and ad as soon as possible!

Review: 

Ladies are you interested in expanding your horizons in math and science?  Attend the Expanding Your Horizons Conference this Saturday, March 20 at Skyline College and learn about great career opportunities in the math and science fields.  This conference is open to all grade levels.  Pick up a brochure in the Career Center.

The 2nd blood drive of the year is going to be on Wednesday, March 31st.  You must be 16 or older to donate.  Come sign up in the Great Court at lunch.

Prom tickets are just around the corner!  They will be on sale in the upper court starting on March 22 until April 16.  Ticket prices start at $70 and go up by $5 every week as the weeks go on.  Get them early!!!!

If you drive your car to school you need to have a parking permit on your car.  Please come to the Main Office and see Ms. White to obtain a Parking Permit Application. 

Bring in those cans!  We only have until March 31st to donate 10,000 pounds to Second Harvest Food Bank.  Remember, the advisories that bring in the most pounds for their grade, gets a delicious breakfast!
