Scott Laurence, San Mateo Union High School District Superintendent, will be at Hillsdale High School to talk to parents about the district’s current budget and briefly outline our economic situation on Monday, March 8th, 6:30 pm in the HHS Library. The PTSO Honorary Service Awards ceremony will take place in the HHS Library on Monday, March 8, 2010, 7:30 pm Each year Hillsdale High School’s PTSO honors those individuals who have made exceptional contributions to our youth and community.
You are encouraged to submit your nomination for the parent, teacher, student, administrator,
staff or community member(s) you feel have demonstrated outstanding effort and service on

New San Mateo Union High School District Newsletter Debuts – Scott Laurence, Superintendent, and his staff at the District are doing their best to help parents and the community stay informed about what’s happening in the District. To that end they have started a monthly newsletter which you can access at the district’s website http://www.smuhsd.org/, click on “SMUHSD News and Notes Newsletter” under the calendar on the right-hand side. Are You or Your Student Interested in International Student Exchange? The Foreign Exchange Program AFS, www.afsusa.org, was recently on campus at HHS to talk to interested students about opportunities for international exchange. AFS looks for adventurous students interested in studying abroad for a summer, semester, or year, and they also have opportunities for families interested in hosting a foreign exchange student for a semester or year.
