Parent Organizations at Hillsdale Announcements

Update on the 2010 Hillsdale High School's Red Alert Campaign:

The Red Alert campaign we launched last year in the face of district shortfalls provided greatly needed funding for the essential elective A-G courses (offered through CSM) in the 2010-11 school year.  By early Spring we had a $98,000 shortfall that affected ten music, art and language classes and is due to a loss of funds from the College of San Mateo (CSM) because of its own budget cuts

Thankfully, through the  generosity of about 30% of all Hillsdale Families donating to the Red Alert Campaign through the Foundation, coupled with a grant from the Hillsdale Foundation, we were able to close the funding gap for these classes. A contract with CSM has been approved and signed, and our classes have been saved for another year!

We are truly grateful to the generosity of all families who donated to this campaign, and who continue to support the school through the Foundation. Academic, excellence at Hillsdale, the Smaller Learning Communities, our sports, Music, Drama, Dance and other clubs and boosters will continue to be the envy of the school district if we continue to rally together as a community to protect our children's educational resources.

Hillsdale High School Foundation is registered 501 (c)3 charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law. For more information on us or how you can donate or get involved, contact us at 650-558-2618 Lwelsh[at]hillsdalefoundation or visit our site
