Chemistry Teacher Wish List:
August 30, 2007
Dear Parent/Guardian of a Hillsdale Chemistry Student,
We, the chemistry teachers at Hillsdale, are committed to offering your student a true laboratory experience during his or her year with us. We do approximately one lab per week. In order to successfully achieve this, we rely heavily upon a well-stocked lab. As time goes by and the budget gets smaller, sustaining this stock becomes more and more difficult, as does obtaining new cutting-edge items.
Some parents have inquired as to how they can help, so we thought it might be helpful to see a “wishlist” of what the chemistry labs could use to maintain a safe, educational, and fun lab. Any donations are greatly appreciated, whether it be in the form of the materials listed below or in a monetary contribution that can be used to purchase the appropriate items. Approximate costs of the items are also listed. If you do wish to donate money towards supplies, please make a check out to Hillsdale High School Science Department.
Thank you and we look forward to working with you and your student this year!
Sincerely,
JB Luzar, Steve Maskel, and Meghan Spalding
