For Classes of 2009 & 2010, ACT & SAT test dates for 2008-2009 are posted to the PSAT, SAT, ACT Testing Information page. Scholarships for all grade levels are updated regularly on the Career Center web site. Scholarships will be posted in Advisory classes as well as bulletin boards throughout campus.

UC Applications will be available online October 1st. Complete the application online at www.ucop.edu/pathways. UC applications must be submitted between November 1- 30
CSU Applications will be available online October 1st. Complete the application online at www.csumentor.edu. Applications to popular campuses must be submitted online between November 1- 30. Other CSU campuses MAY have later due dates. Check the CSU Mentor page “Application Filing Status Report” in October to learn campus deadlines. To be safe, file your application by November 30.

Independent (private) schools
Most independent schools post on-line applications on their web sites. Visit www.aiccumentor.org for applications, links to and information on CA "independent" colleges & universities. Due dates: Independent schools set their own due dates. Most Early Action or Early Decision deadlines are in November. Applying to USC? USC has a 2-part application. Part I is due October 15. Common Application for Independent Schools: Over 250 U.S. independent schools accept the Common Application (“CA”). Using the CA can save you hours of recopying. Which schools accept the CA? Check the web site and download the CA from: www.commonapp.org.
Hillsdale’s Scholarship Handbook Is Online!
Mrs. Merport is assembling the Senior Scholarship Handbook for 2008–2009 in an online version. For your convenience, you’ll be able to access it from the Hillsdale web site by October. She will continue to provide weekly updates to the Scholarship Information web page as new scholarships are received.
