We Have A Whole Lot to Do |

| First of all, we have to decide what our team layout will be. I was under a different understanding than it seems many of you were, so we're going to vote on it. Also, we have to set up the teams. Those can be shifted around a bit before the competition, but it's best if they're pretty finalized by the end of this meeting. We also have to make some headway with the Uber Botball Challenge. We're running out of time! The timing for this meeting is set for three hours, but we're likely to go over because we have a lot to do. If you're getting a ride, it would probably be best for you to call your ride when we're done rather than have them pick you up. Thanks! |

| First of all, we have to finish catching up with the challenges: we need to finish the sumo competition (I think it's just a matter of actually doing it) and we can start on the next one. The next challenge is the Uber Botball Challenge. This is slightly indistinct, but we're going to do something like a truncated version of Botball. I expect everyone to be at this meeting!!! Today we're going to prepare for the challenge (logistics and stuff.) We will actually begin the robotics part of the challenge in one or two meetings from today. | ||||

| Nobody told me anything about when they wanted to finish the programming lessons. So, we're going to get 2/3rds of the way done this next meeting! We're going to start going over program implementation considerations and the actual syntax of Interactive C. We're going to program simple robots to do simple tasks. Yay! As you now know (especially if you read the email I sent you already), I defined the date and time for this meeting without consulting you guys first. I apologize, but I had to because we aren't having lunch this week! So, this is the date and time. The location; I'm waiting for a response from somebody to let me know who is able to host this time. |

Discuss Upcoming Building Challenges |

| Today we talked a little bit about the building challenges that you guys are going to be put through. Starting next month, we're going to build some "test" robots that compete in the following challenges: Racing, where you simple race against your opponents; Sumo, where you push your opponent from the ring; TP Tube and Nest manipulation, two separate challenges that should prove very useful for Botball; an Encoder Maze, so we can get used to those stupid but necessary shaft encoders; a Lifting challenge; and finally a Weird Programming challenge for those who feel like getting more into the programming with low-level oddities such as sonar jammers, etc. We also built break-dancing robots, which we're going to play with on Thursday (11/20). |
